Environmental Stewardship

Twin City Container, Inc. (EPA ID# MNR000052050) is very concerned about, and places the utmost importance upon maintaining a stringent environmental policy.  This emphasis on environmental stewardship is the principle under which TCC was founded.

Each of TCC’s processes is designed with this policy in mind.  All reconditioning and cleaning process fumes collected and exhausted through an air fume scrubber.  Additionally, Twin City Container does not store any containers on the ground.  It is TCC’s policy that any container, whether empty or full be stored in a trailer, eliminating the possibility of ground contamination.  TCC was designed such that the entire building provides secondary containment, with each sump being epoxy lined with a stainless steel insert, complete with continuous leak detection monitoring.

TCC understands how to handle both regulated and non-regulated waste.  All waste generated through our processes is collected, handled, manifested, and reported in an environmentally responsible manner, complying with all local, state and federal regulations.  Only trained employees that fully understand these regulations and requirements are allowed to handle waste.

Ultimately, TCC’s environmental stewardship impacts you, the customer, most by reassuring you that your drums and the residue and waste from those drums is properly handled, which in turn greatly reduces any environmental liability and exposure you might face. Above and beyond this stringent environmental policy, TCC extends further reassurance of limited environmental exposure with a $5,000,000 Environmental and Pollution Liability Insurance Policy.
